About Me

From a young age I had a clear passion for hairdressing and I consider myself incredibly fortunate to still maintain that love for my profession to this day. Accumulating over 35 years of experience in the industry, primarily working in renowned city centre salons in Liverpool.

Throughout my career, I've committed myself not just to the day-to-day tasks of salon work but also to the continuous expansion of my knowledge. I believe in making my clients feel confident about their hair, and I always strive to put them at the forefront of my work.

Like many talented hairstylists in the industry, I enjoy staying up to date with new techniques for all hair textures and styles. I love learning and experimenting. It was this desire to continue learning that led me on a journey into the world of curls.

After encountering a video featuring Lorraine Massey, I was inspired to enhance my own self taught skills and provide an elevated level of service to my clients with curly hair. I pursued a one-on-one curly hair course and extended my education through online resources. I am now proud to offer specialised curly hair services alongside my other areas of expertise in hairstyling.

My expertise in cutting and styling hair, ranging from smooth textures to curls, led me to become a founding member of Wilderness Hair Salon in Liverpool. Here, I served as an Artistic Director and Specialist in curly hair. It was during this period that I perfected my craft and nurtured my skills.

I am extremely grateful for the journey that has led me to where I am today.
